Jodi is a Huron County girl at heart! She was born and raised in Goderich and is part of the Hayter family, that have been long term residents in Huron County. After high school Jodi
went on to obtain her Legal Assistant Diploma at Fanshawe College and worked in Kitchener at Queen’s Park. It was only a short time thereafter when she decided to return to Huron County to support the then Huron- Bruce Member of Provincial Parliament as a Constituency Assistant. This role allowed her to travel extensively throughout Huron and Bruce Counties which rekindled her love and appreciation for small town rural living.
Over the years Jodi has remained living in Huron and Perth Counties while working as an Executive Assistant for both public and private organizations. It was during this time that she started to recognize her passion for sales, real estate, and interior design. Approximately 7 years ago she obtained her Interior Design Diploma from the Interior Design Institute and then 3 years ago began the journey to fulfill her dream of becoming a realtor. In August of 2018 she became licensed as a real estate sales representative and shortly thereafter quit her full-time job to focus on her new career. Being the daughter of the owner of a car dealership she saw first hand the importance of great customer/client service and quickly learned that success comes from hard work and often going “above and beyond”. Everyday she takes with her the lessons she has learn which has resulted in a successful first year as a real estate agent.
Jodi loves to be challenged and takes pride in her ability to truly listen to her clients’ needs and to provide a responsive, transparent and personable service.
Jodi and her husband of 20 years, Kriss, along with their 2 daughters, Masyn and Jordyn, recently moved from Listowel to Wingham where they hope to lay down their roots and give back to the community. Jodi currently volunteers as a North Perth Chamber of Commerce Board Member and continues to seek additional volunteer opportunities.
